About Pinakah

Built by people who understand
Indian legal practice

Pinakah was born from a simple frustration: the tools available to Indian law firms were built for other markets, other courts, and other workflows. So we built our own.

OUR STORY

Why we built
Pinakah

Pinakah started with a conversation between two people — a lawyer frustrated with fragmented systems and an engineer who loves solving problems. Law firms were running high-stakes work on WhatsApp groups, Excel sheets, and physical registers — without the infrastructure to match.

The software available was either built for American courts, priced for multinationals, or so generic it required months of customisation to be useful. Nobody had built something specifically for the way Indian lawyers work.

So we did. Pinakah is built around the rhythms of Indian legal practice — the morning court lists, the eCourts system, the WhatsApp culture of coordination, the hierarchy of Indian law firms, and the confidentiality obligations that come with every matter.

And the shift is only accelerating. As India’s court system moves toward a more digital, paperless, and AI-enabled future, law firms will need to be ready not just to keep up, but to operate with greater speed, structure, and intelligence. Pinakah is built to help firms make that transition with confidence.

“Indian lawyers are among the most sophisticated legal minds in the world. They deserve software that matches that sophistication — not tools built for someone else's courtroom.”

OUR VALUES

What we believe
in deeply

Lawyers First

Every decision starts with one question: does this make a lawyer's day better? Not a manager's dashboard prettier — a lawyer's actual day.

AI Should Assist, Not Replace

Too much legal software is being built to imitate the advocate. We believe the better path is to strengthen the advocate’s judgment, reduce manual burden, and help lawyers work at their best — with AI acting as a copilot, not a substitute.

Built for India

Indian courts, Indian data laws, Indian workflows, Indian pricing. We don't adapt foreign software — we build natively for the Indian legal system from the ground up.
